Membership

The Society for Marketing Professional Services is a national organization dedicated to helping it's members achieve marketing and management success. SMPS provides information, ideas, networks, and other opportunities that can give firms a "strategic advantage." The SMPS Central Florida Chapter now has nearly 200 members and is the fifth largest chapter in the nation.

Over the years, SMPS Central Florida has consistently raised the bar in terms of the programming offered, as well as the educational opportunities and the networking activities provided to our members. 2006 program topics have been developed based on your input in the recent program survey. We are also exploring new venues and program times that reflect members’ requests.

Our yearly programs and events include:

• Monthly Programs - tentatively the third Tuesday of the month
• Coordinator's Club Meetings - typically once a month, 11:30am-1pm
• Mix, Market & Mingle - takes place the 4th Wednesday of every month, 5:30pm-7pm. Check out our Program Calendar for additional information. 
• Educational Program (Marketing Mayhem) - in the Spring and typically two half days or one full day event
• Summer Social/Board Turnover - in the Summer prior to Sept. 1
• Holiday Social - in December to celebrate the Holidays
• New Member Breakfasts - in the Spring and Fall to welcome new members
• Professional/Student Chapter Socials - in both the Spring and Fall
• Internship Expo - in the Spring and Fall, coordinated by the SMPS-UCF Student Chapter and FREE to companies looking for interns
• SMPS-UCF Bowl-A-Thon - in the Spring to raise money for a student scholarship
