Come Help Harbor House Move Their Children To A Better Environment - March 2010As part of SMPS Central Florida's commitment to support Harbor House Central Florida, we are organizing a group to help them move into their new Children's Facility in March.The current facility where the children stay during the day while the mom's are getting counseling and looking for employment is small, dark and the kitchen boasts a sink, microwave and toaster oven. The person who cooks and cares for these kids creates amazing wholesome meals with just that - so imagine what she will be able to do with an brand new industrial kitchen!! The new facility is also bright and airy with areas for preschool children and school aged children to be taught onsite. There is also a multi-purpose area that can be used by the kids and hopefully in the future wellness/craft classes for the moms. The facility is going to provide a much improved environment for the children and more peace of mind for the mom's trying to get their life back together.
