That’s Amore – That’s Love – Love for the Lisa Merlin House that is. There was lots of love for this great organization on the night of May 6, 2006 at the That’s Amore Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction, held at the Rose Centre Hotel on International Drive.

The night included a VIP reception, a silent auction and a live auction. The live auction was hosted by Johnny Magic and Grace Vasquez from the 106.7’s Doc & Johnny Morning Show. These great packages were put together by 18 of Orlando’s hottest singles. But you did not have to be single to bid on the packages, which included escapes to amazing destinations like New York City and Miami Beach. Other packages included Tampa Bay Buccaneers tickets, a skydiving adventure and a Central Florida get away.

Over $24,000 was raised that will go to the new women’s & children home that the Lisa Merlin House is currently building in Casselberry. Plans are already in full swing for next year’s auction.
